The Pakistan Red Crescent Society (PRCS) gives priority to ameliorate the suffering of the most vulnerable people in distress without discrimination of nationality, race, religious belief, class, or political opinion. The main activities of the Society are relief work during and after conflict, disaster relief and auxiliary health and welfare services, which include a wide range of activities for the less privileged and marginalized people in both urban and rural areas. Accordingly the Society carries a good public image.
Pakistan Red Crescent specialized in screening and vaccinations and they give special discount on HIV, HbsAg, and HCV. Hepatitis-B/C is uncurable and killing disease whose vaccination and injections are available in Mehar Clinical Laboratory in affordable prices other then Pakistan Red Crescent's office.

 

Short courses are organized to train national as well as international students and researchers in the field of Molecular Biological Research in Agriculture, Health and Environment. CAMB also establish institutes and laboratories for research and development in the scientific and technological fields and promote technology, standards, testing and quality assurance system.
In June 2003, Mehar Clinical Laboratory's Mr.Tahir Malik (Medical Technologist) met Mr.Idrees Khan (Incharge of Molecular Diagnostic Lab) to make Mehar Clinical Laboratory CAMB's pickup point. After all the paper work and by keeping Mehar Clinical Laboratory's repute in mind they finally decided to make it pick up point. So, since June 30th, 2003, Mehar Clinical Laboratory is the pickup point of CAMB.
